These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between AVANTAREA and the individuals or legal entities who purchase products via its online shop.
AVANTAREA specialises in the sale of bathroom furniture, occasional furniture, washbasins, mirrors, taps, fittings and other bathroom-related products.
These terms and conditions apply to orders placed via the website, without prejudice to any specific terms and conditions that may be communicated prior to finalising a purchase.
The customer may consult these terms and conditions before placing their order. Confirmation of the purchase shall imply their express acceptance via the mechanism provided during the ordering process.
3. Products and characteristics
AVANTAREA provides information on the essential characteristics of its products, including, where applicable, dimensions, materials, finishes, colours, composition and items included.
Photographs, renderings and digital representations are for illustrative purposes only. Colours and textures may vary slightly due to the characteristics of the materials, lighting or screen settings.
Bathroom furniture sets shall only include the items specified in the product description. Taps, siphons, accessories, decorative items or installation services shall not be considered included unless expressly stated.
The customer must check the product’s dimensions, access to the property, installation requirements and compatibility with the available space before making a purchase.
Any discrepancies constituting a lack of conformity with the product shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable regulations and shall not be covered by the illustrative nature of the images.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are quoted in euros (€). Applicable taxes and the total price will be shown during the purchase process and, in any event, before the customer confirms an order requiring payment.
Where Value Added Tax (VAT) applies, the amount must be clearly identified in the purchase breakdown.
Delivery charges, transport costs or other additional costs will be communicated before the order is finalised. Where these cannot be reasonably calculated in advance, the customer will be informed of this circumstance and of the relevant calculation method.
AVANTAREA may amend its prices and promotions. Any changes will not affect orders that have already been placed.
In the event of obvious errors in price or description, AVANTAREA will inform the customer and propose a solution in accordance with applicable legislation. No additional charges will be made without the customer’s consent.
5. Purchase process
To place an order, the customer must select the products and any variants, add them to the basket and follow the steps in the purchase process.
Before confirming the order, the customer may review the selected products, quantities, delivery details, total price, applicable taxes and charges, and correct any errors.
The contract will be concluded in the language selected from those available in the shop.
The order will be confirmed by clicking the ‘Checkout’ button, which must clearly state that this implies an obligation to pay.
AVANTAREA will send the customer a confirmation of the contract by email or by another durable electronic medium, containing the legally required information.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete details for the processing and delivery of the order.
6. Product availability
Orders are subject to the availability of the selected products, components, finishes and materials.
If AVANTAREA is unable to supply a product ordered, it shall inform the customer and proceed to refund any amounts paid where applicable, without prejudice to any other legally recognised rights.
For products with different options in terms of sizes, colours or configurations, availability may vary depending on the combination selected.
AVANTAREA will not unilaterally substitute one product for another without the customer’s consent.
7. Payment methods
The accepted payment methods will be those displayed during the purchase process.
The customer may check the terms and any associated charges for each method before confirming the order.
Electronic payment transactions will be processed via the relevant systems and providers, with the required authentication and security measures applied.
AVANTAREA will not ask the customer to disclose bank passwords or confidential authentication codes via email or unsecured communications.
Where a payment transaction is not authorised, the order may remain pending confirmation or may not be completed successfully.
8. Dispatches and delivery areas
AVANTAREA will deliver to the destinations available during the checkout process.
Available delivery areas, delivery charges, any restrictions and estimated delivery times will be communicated before the order is finalised.
Bulky or heavy items may require specialised transport services.
The scope of the delivery service, including any kerbside delivery, carrying the goods to the door or installation, must be expressly specified before the service is contracted. No additional service shall be deemed included unless specified in the order terms and conditions.
The customer must disclose any circumstances that may affect delivery when requested to do so, particularly regarding access restrictions, door dimensions, staircases or lifts.
Additional costs may only be charged where they have been disclosed and accepted in accordance with applicable regulations.
9. Delivery times
The expected delivery time shall be that indicated during the purchase process or in the order confirmation.
Unless the parties agree otherwise, orders placed by consumers must be delivered without undue delay and, at the latest, within thirty calendar days of the conclusion of the contract.
Should AVANTAREA fail to meet the applicable delivery deadline, the consumer may exercise their statutory rights, including, where appropriate, the granting of a reasonable extension and the termination of the contract.
The customer will be notified of any logistical issues via the contact details provided.
10. Receipt and inspection of the order
Upon receipt of the order, it is recommended that you check the number of parcels, the external condition of the packaging and whether there is any visible damage.
If any apparent damage is observed, it is recommended that this be noted on the delivery note and reported to AVANTAREA, providing photographs where possible.
These recommendations facilitate the handling of incidents with the carrier, but do not constitute requirements that condition or limit the consumer’s legal rights.
The customer may report hidden damage, incorrect products, missing parts or other non-conformities via the customer service channels.
Where the purchase is made by a consumer, the risk of loss or deterioration shall pass in accordance with the applicable regulations; generally speaking, this occurs when the consumer or a third party designated by them takes physical possession of the goods.
11. Right of withdrawal
Where the purchaser has the legal status of a consumer and the contract is concluded at a distance, they may, as a general rule, withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without needing to justify their decision, save where exceptions are provided for by law.
To exercise this right, the consumer must notify AVANTAREA of their unequivocal decision by email to info@avantarea.com or by any other legally valid means.
The consumer may use the model withdrawal form included at the end of these terms and conditions, although its use is not mandatory.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the notification before the end of the fourteen calendar days.
After notifying AVANTAREA of the withdrawal, the consumer must return or hand over the products without undue delay and, at the latest, within fourteen calendar days of the notification, unless AVANTAREA has offered to collect them.
AVANTAREA will refund the legally required amounts, including standard delivery costs where applicable, within fourteen calendar days of the date on which it was notified of the withdrawal.
Unless it has offered to collect the goods, AVANTAREA may withhold the refund until it has received them or until the consumer provides proof of return, whichever occurs first.
The refund will generally be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise and at no additional cost to the consumer.
Direct costs of return:
The consumer shall only be liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
12. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal shall not apply in the cases expressly provided for by law, including the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
The mere choice between standard sizes, colours or finishes offered in the catalogue shall not necessarily mean that a product is personalised for legal purposes.
AVANTAREA must clearly inform the consumer, prior to entering into the contract, of any specific products to which an exception to the right of withdrawal applies.
Opening the packaging or assembling a product does not, in itself and in all cases, automatically result in the loss of the right of withdrawal.
13. Statutory warranty and conformity
All products sold by AVANTAREA are subject to the statutory guarantee of conformity applicable to the purchaser’s status and the relevant legislation.
In the sale of new goods to consumers, AVANTAREA shall, as a general rule, be liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within three years from delivery.
In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer may request the remedial measures provided for by law, including repair or replacement and, where applicable, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
The goods shall be brought into conformity free of charge, within a reasonable period and without undue inconvenience to the consumer, in accordance with the terms set out in the regulations.
Where legally required, this obligation shall include the removal of installed goods and the installation of repaired or replaced goods, or the corresponding costs.
Normal wear and tear, misuse or damage arising from causes unrelated to a lack of conformity shall not be covered as manufacturing defects, without prejudice to the purchaser’s statutory rights.
Any additional commercial guarantees, where applicable, will be set out in the relevant documentation and shall not limit the statutory guarantee.
14. Installation, maintenance and use
Products must be installed and used in accordance with their technical instructions, maintenance recommendations and specific characteristics.
It is recommended that the strength and condition of the mounting surface, the installation dimensions and the compatibility of plumbing connections, where applicable, be checked beforehand.
The installation of wall-mounted furniture, washbasins and other items requiring such installation must be carried out properly and safely, preferably by qualified personnel.
The customer must follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions for the materials, particularly for wooden surfaces, finishes, fittings and technical worktops.
These recommendations do not exclude AVANTAREA’s legal liability for manufacturing defects, incorrect instructions or lack of conformity, including incorrect installation where this is legally attributable to the seller.
15. Customer Service and Complaints
For enquiries regarding products, orders, invoicing, deliveries, returns or warranties, the customer may contact us via:

Consumers may contact the relevant public consumer protection bodies, without prejudice to other legally established means of dispute resolution.
16. Invoicing
AVANTAREA will issue the relevant invoices in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
The customer must provide the correct tax details when requesting an invoice in the name of an individual, a company or a professional.
The issuing, delivery and retention of invoices shall comply with current legal obligations.
17. Protection of personal data
Personal data provided during the purchase process will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 and other applicable regulations.
The purposes may include the management of orders, payments, deliveries, invoicing, customer service and compliance with legal obligations.
Detailed information on legal bases, recipients, retention periods and the exercise of rights is available in AVANTAREA’s Privacy Policy.
18. Intellectual and industrial property
The texts, photographs, images, designs, trademarks, logos and other content on the website belong to AVANTAREA or their respective owners.
Their reproduction, distribution, adaptation or exploitation without authorisation is prohibited, except in cases permitted by current legislation.
19. Liability
AVANTAREA shall be liable for its contractual obligations and for any damages legally attributable to it.
It shall not be liable for any breach arising from circumstances of force majeure within the terms permitted by applicable legislation.
No provision of these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude the inalienable rights recognised for consumers.
20. Amendment of the terms and conditions
AVANTAREA may update these terms and conditions to bring them into line with regulatory, operational or commercial changes.
The terms and conditions applicable to each purchase shall be those in force at the time the order is placed, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
New versions will be published on the website, indicating the date of update.
21. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply, particularly in cross-border sales.
Where the purchaser is a consumer, any disputes shall be submitted to the courts having legal jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rules on jurisdiction.
Where the buyer acts as a trader or professional, the parties shall submit, unless otherwise required by law or by a valid agreement to the contrary, to the courts and tribunals of Castellón, Spain.
22. Model withdrawal form
Please complete and submit this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
